• Google Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we collect your email address, name, and profile picture.
• Phone Number: You provide your mobile money phone number when making payments.
• Country Selection: You select your country (Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, or Rwanda) for pricing and payment method.
• Topics & Content: The topics you submit for lesson generation.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: Topics generated, lessons accessed, features used.
• Device Information: Browser type, operating system, and device type.
• Local Storage: We store session tokens, cached user data, referral codes, and country preference in your browser's local storage.
• Encrypted Audio: Downloaded lessons are stored encrypted (AES-256) in your browser's storage.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To generate AI audio lessons based on your topics
• To process payments via PesaPal (mobile money STK Push)
• To deliver and encrypt audio lessons for offline playback
• To operate the referral program (track referrals, award free credits)
• To improve the Service and develop new features
• To communicate with you about your account, payments, and service updates
• To enforce our Terms of Service and prevent abuse

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as necessary:

• PesaPal: Your phone number and payment amount are shared with PesaPal to process mobile money payments.
• Google: Authentication is handled via Google OAuth. We receive only the information you authorize (email, name, profile picture).
• DeepSeek AI: Your submitted topics are sent to DeepSeek's API to generate lesson scripts and audio. No personally identifiable information is shared with DeepSeek.
• Service Providers: We may use third-party hosting (MongoDB, cloud infrastructure) to store and serve data.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Data Storage & Security

• Account data (email, name, picture, country, payment history) is stored in MongoDB.
• Generated lessons (scripts, audio metadata) are stored on our servers.
• Audio files downloaded to your device are encrypted with AES-256 and watermarked with your account information.
• Payment records are stored with PesaPal and referenced by order tracking ID.
• We implement reasonable security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Generated lessons are retained on our servers for 30 days after generation. You may delete individual lessons or your entire account at any time. When you delete a lesson, the associated audio files and metadata are permanently removed.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Portability: Request transfer of your data in a machine-readable format
• Withdraw Consent: Revoke Google OAuth access at any time via your Google Account settings

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
